Art Integration: How can the integration of art create new avenues of assessing & access?
Abstract: Click above for full study. Several interviews were done with a total of 6 elementary teachers and 4 2nd grade students on their experiences and opinions about art in school. An art integration observation was done to capture responses and performances. All interviews and observations were done in public schools in southeast San Diego. All environments contained a high percentage of English Language Learners as well as located in low socio-economic areas.
